Everyone who has traveled with a camera has their story.
Here is mine.

Well, a little bit of it so far.

This blog is my way of sharing what I have seen while travelling. Most of these posts are of photographs taken while at play, if I am ever at play. For, photography is one of my interests which has become an occupation. My main work is research, consultancy and writing on wildlife, especially birds. Much of what I do, have seen and photographed during those forms of work is documented on my other blogs and websites - see the links over on the side. There is no fine line of distinction between my vocations, the whole blends together, and if anything the photography binds it.

Wherever I am, my eyes are constantly roving and flicking, recording the scene and looking for colour and form. I take in the landscape first, then home in on the fine details that make up the big picture. It is the tiny sprinklings of spice which add flavour to life.

Add together all our individual interests, places traveled and perspectives. Multiply that up by the number of people who have cameras and wow, that's a big number. People are always keen to learn more of places, what there is to see and share their experiences with others. That's life. Cameras are now an integral part of that life, and I enjoy sharing other people's photographs.

This is my share.
