Enlighten - Canberra 2014

Old Parliament House

The Enlighten festival is now on in Canberra, with some old and new light shows. The usual buildings are used as Architectural Projection screens for colours, patterns and images cast by Electric Canvas, and among the new theatrical events were the amazing Fiers a Cheval created and performed by the Compagnie des Quidams. Four-metre high inflatable horse puppets cavorted among the crowd to wonderful affect. Great theatre, sculpture, just good fun.

The Questacon building was lit as usual

The High Court building was also featured this year, with the cascade leading down from the forecourt set alight with fire from candle-type flares on one side of the path and flames emerging from the water on the other.
